Why attend?

According to many solar PV experts there are a few countries that are about to burst into a solar revolution, but no country with as much potential to boom as Mexico. With some of the highest irradiance levels in the world (average kWh/m2 per day) Mexico has the perfect natural conditions to make large-scale PV applications a success. Besides the perfect natural conditions Mexico is also steadily progressing in creating a favourable policy environment that encourages solar PV applications. With the recent government reforms on energy policy the government has enabled private involvement to commercialize electricity, which opens up interesting opportunities for residential and commercial scale PV applications. With utility scale projects in the pipeline summing up to 219 megawatts Mexico is to be the lead Latin-American country per 2014, but this will probably be just the beginning.
